MASSACHUSETTS -- Author Lenni Brenner delivered a
lecture on the campus of Wellesley College, on March 1st dealing with the
contentious issue of Jewish involvement in the slave trade.
Following the speech, Brenner's assertions were
challenged by the Historical Research Department providing them with the
opportunity to deal with such interesting and relevant questions as:
What was the extent and nature of Jewish involvement in the
abolitionist movement?
What is the true ethnicity of Christopher Columbus and from whence
came his financial backing?
How significant was (is) Jewish involvement in the drug trade?
Was the compilation of "The Secret Relationship Between Blacks
and Jews" an attempt to avoid discussion of Arab involvement in the slave trade?
